Why do I only get $629 for SSI?

Why do they keep tell me that $629 is the most you can get on SSI. When i know other people that get on SSI $745 a month and other get $800. Why is this. I should get more then what i get now.

The maximum you can get for SSI from the federal government is $710. Now, some states also give claimants a state supplemental payment and whether or not you would get this depends on your state. Now, if your federal benefit rate has been lowered then something is lowering it. For instance, if you work part time or you live with someone who is providing food and shelter SSI payments can be decreased.
