What information will the SSA need to make a disability decision?

I can't see how they can they can make a good decision, with what info they get from a dr. Most of them could care less.

If your doctor does not support your disability decision it may be time to find a new doctor. The SSA will review your current medical records to determine if you are disabled. If they do not have sufficient information from your own doctor they may send you to a consultative examiner but if you are relying on a consultative examination to win benefits this can be problematic for your case.
